"Perfect place to stay right on the Royal Mile. Amazing staff, incredible rooms and great service. Rooms are clean, spacious and modern and though the layout takes just a bit to get used to - I loved the historic feel of the hotel. Absolutely would stay here again. "

"room was not large but efficient. refrigerator did not work, had to get buckets of ice nightly. did not partake in the dining options. The location was great! across the street from the waverley station, cut through to go to new town. "Neat and spacious apartments right on the Royal Mile, walkable from several restaurants, shops, and attractions. Having a kitchen with all the necessary appliances and cutlery, and a washer/dryer was a huge benefit! Communication was clear and detailed, and everything was set up in advance to help us have a smooth experience. Luggage storage is available on the first floor. The property is well-secured with several layers of doors with access codes.

"Beautiful clean room. Free wifi and the free coffee and pastry in the lounge was great. Location is great - easy walk to Royal Mile and Castle but quieter than Old Town. Great shopping and restaurants nearby. Bed was comfortable. "

"Loved everything about this property. The apartment was immaculate, the furnishings were lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was appropriate lighting in each area, laundry available (I assume on each floor), sensory lighting in the hallways, excellent communication from the off-site staff. "We loved the large rooms, friendly staff, food and drink options and the convenience to all the restaurants, sight seeing and transportation in Edinburgh. We couldn't have picked a better location. I would definitely stay at Apex Waterloo again. "

"Great apartment! Even nicer in person than I could have imagined from the photos, which already gave a good impression. Was pleasantly surprised to see my unit had two full bathrooms! For a one bedroom, that was awesome. Wish I could've stayed longer than a day, because it makes a nice retreat.
The base of the kitchen sink was the main thing noticeably dirty, which was unfortunate to see. But didn't take away from the whole experience. 15/1 and 15/2 have a deep stairway to get to the apt,...
