"The room was clean. I was assigned the accessible room so not sure if this had different amenities, however there were no bedside table/over bed lamps, which seems odd. No in-room coffee/tea service. There is a coffee vending machine near the pool, and a microwave. Pretty bare bones. Also the parking spaces are very narrow and indeed someone nicked my car when parking and left no note (gee thanks). Some rooms are right next to the pool, however the do close it at a reasonable time. Otherwise it felt generally safe, the front desk folks were good. I didn't see a lot of food places nearby. I drove further into Ktown for some coffee on my way out. It was respectfully quite on a Friday night. "

"My review: 1). Person across the hall from us blared his/her television all night long. Woke me up at 4:00 AM. Finally at 6:00 AM we had to call the front office and have the staff pound on their door to get them to turn off the television. 2) Floor above our room creaked whenever somebody walked on it. Woke us up in the morning. Their shower made a lot of noise. It seemed like it was in our room. Walls are paper thin. 3) Whatever you do don’t park in the basement. It is a steep single car lane into the basement. Nearly impossible to make the 90 degree turn to get out. I was an inch from scratching the side of my car trying to get out. My wife had to get out to help me navigate the turn. Wall at base of steep one car lane out had lots of scars from people who weren’t so lucky. There was parking behind hotel. 4) The sink area didn’t have a light. We found this strange. I had to take my contacts out on the bed that had light. 5) Bed was like a rock. Hope you like an extra, extra firm bed. 6) Breakfast was decent. Waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, cocoa, coffee, boiled eggs, and yogurt. 7) All the buildings around the hotel had bars on them. 8) We asked the receptionist where to eat and she told us of a restaurant down the street that looked aweful. She didn’t tell us that the Beverly Hills Grove was just 3 blocks away. We found out about it by asking a stranger. Hundreds of restaurants and a huge farmers market. Would not stay there again."

"I asked in advance the staff multiple times what the cost would be for laundry for my personal towels that I brought as I’m traveling. I was quoted multiple times ~$18-20 and then when the bill came it was over $60!!! I asked multiple people including management in advance and even requested an exact quote which wasn’t provided. When I brought this up to the team all they could say is “sorry” didn’t do anything about it which left me very much disappointed with my experience. "

"This French owned hotel, is clean with very business-like decor. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its location in Beverly Hills is good for access to Hollywood and the Rodeo Drive area though it is quite far from downtown LA. The swimming pool was closed for renovation when we were there. All in all, and of course depending on your plans, it is a good hotel to base your stay in LA."
