"Constant construction drilling noise we heard from room from pool everywhere. No escaping that noise. It was pretty bad. I should have read the reviews. And it looks like that construction will be going on for while unfortunately. "

"Excellent vacation! Hotel is lovely, rooms clean and comfortable and the free amenities were a BIG plus (breakfast, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and as much bottled water as you want). The pools were great and this is in the heart of SB on Ocean Drive, right across from beach and beautiful 10 mile bike/walk boardwalk. "

"Our room smelled very bad (musty) The floor was not mopped. Froze in our room, could not regulate the air. Appreciated use of beach chairs and great location."

"The only thing that did work properly was the Internet. I wouldn’t stay here again. This hotel desperately needs a makeover. Just because you’re located on Collins ave doesn’t mean it’s 5 star!! Broken hotel room door, I def got a balcony room and they gave me ground level because that’s all they had, no TV service, the doors are lock key and old so mosquitos get in, I only SAW the pool and it was tiny. Took 40 mins for the hot water to work in our room would absolutely NOT STAY here again. The overnight girl told me I needed to wake up every 4 hours because she couldn’t direct me where to park overnight. The manager just blamed all the staff. What a joke and waste of over $1000 for three nights. NEVERRRRR AGAIN"

"It’s a beautiful hotel… We were in a room that was ADA compliant… So we did not have a glass protected wall in the shower… Just a very small little shower curtain and every time we showered there was water absolutely everywhere… Told the front desk that we would need more towels or if we could get a second shower curtain added just to try to stop some of the water… They were slow to respond. Also on Friday, Saturday and Sunday… There is a pool party that outside people are allowed to purchase a ticket to attend… So the pool area was very busy… Which absolutely can be a lot of fun, but there are only 10 lounge chairs available for hotel guests to sit in that don’t cost money. Every single pool bed or pool chair or pool sofa was all had to be paid for so if you did not get there early and get one of the pool loungers… There was nowhere to sit unless you just sat in the pool or on the ground by the pool… Pool parties a lot of fun… Very lively… But just be prepared. "
