"Stayed for 2 nights. Just perfect. Breakfast perfect. Main meals perfect. Staff perfect. Room was just fabulously perfect. The uneven floors were beautful and the effort made to keep it looking old is to be applauded. The doors were awesome. We find somewhere like this every year around this time for our birthdays and anniversary. Always somewhere with history and central to exploring. "The room itself had been recently decorated in a modern decor, unfortunately our bathroom had clearly been smoked in recently, not the hotels fault given all the signs, but the smell was very overpowering and unpleasant. Despite going in winter, we couldn't get the room cool enough -we opened the window and turned off the radiator but couldn't sleep as it was too hot. In addition, there was a party downstairs we were not warned about, the music carried on very late which prevented us sleeping -...
