"Beautiful hotel! The staff were super helpful and the facilities were perfect. The room was perfect and large. Very well maintained and clean. Personally I would have preferred a little amenities kit in the bathroom and I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. With a buffet I expected more items on the menu and some of the pastry and hot food tasted quite stale which was disappointing considering the price. Overall, lovely hotel."

"Check in is at 3 pm and they will not allow early check in, even though I emailed the hotel and they said since we flew in over night that the front desk could accommodate that. Waited hours trying to stay awake in lobby. Never again"

"So close but quiet at night to city center castle , river and more and very close to train and bus station. Compact but efficient , would skip the breakfast as a Weatherspoon is across the street w better value. Engaged staff even threaded a needle for me to put on a button."

"This is the most deceptive marketing we have experienced on the Expedia app. The pictures of our room looked nothing like the dilapidated mess we were confronted with, including a peeling and rotting bath panel; excessive mold around the bath, ceiling and walls; a discolored mirror; carpet stains and a missing headboard. We would be happy to provide photos if requested."

"Breakfast buffet offered plenty of options. Property convenient to shopping and restaurants. Across the street from the castle. Only downside was all the street construction which wasn’t their fault."

"Clean comfortable guest house. Note it has a shared bathroom and toilets . Plenty of facilities kettle and tea in room and kitchen. Shared use of full kitchen. It was the days of the heatwave so uncomfortable only because of that. Bed very comfortable clean linen and towels. All guests were very in tune with quiet period 10 pm to 8 am. I was aid for street parking through guest house arrived early and managed to park directly outside."
