"Lovely hotel with a historic vibe, but it could use an upgrade in hospitality processes and staff training. The restaurant was well laid out, but seemed understaffed as the service team always appeared hurried, under stress and generally unhappy. The quality of the food was decent, but lacking in selection and steaks were often overcooked. The front desk staff were professional, but somewhat lacking in congeniality and the housekeeping team were average, with the exception of one South Asian...

"If you need a lot of room, the Jameson Suite was amazing. Watching the tide change was nice. The view was beautiful. A bit far from town for restaurants. They say you can walk there but you really can’t. Taxis are very good though and the wait was not long. Worth the travel though. Cute little town to visit close by."

"Beautiful property but it’s used for events and parties. Was really noisy with doors banging and people talking loudly in the corridors till past 2. So not great for a good nights rest."

"I like the property close to airport and has shuttle service as early as 5am in the morning. The breakfast has vegetarian choices such as fruits, sausages, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes. The nearby restaurants are good as well such as the flame and the clipper bar and kitchen within walking distance. Also the bus line 15 station is close by to take you directly to the city center and tourism pickup spots."

"They say they have a shuttle Take an uber or cab for the fairly short ride The bus to this place is hard to find, a long walk, and slow My time away from home is more valuable than their inaccessible shuttle that caused us stress"

"Beautiful accommodation and lovely chatty staff, I felt right at home to make myself a tea or coffee in the common area. The shared bathroom was spotless (and only shared with one other suite). Just a walk away from the village and castle grounds. I would stay there again and recommend to anyone."

"We loved staying at the White Sands Hotel. We enjoyed being across the street from the beach. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was a special treat! The restaurant served delicious food. Highly recommend to anyone."

"Hotel is brand-new, so rooms are clean, modern layout, great walk-in showers, very functional, comfortable mattress/beds, very helpful staff and reception is open 24 hrs. Locations was great, just outside busy tourist zone, but within 30 mins walk of the city centre. Nice neighbourhood with good restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops nearby. Fast and easy to get to from airport. Highly recommend."

"The staff was friendly, the room and property were clean. The food in the restaurant was tasty. It is near to the airport which was a + for us and there is a coffee shop and a Lidl next door. The one thing would be that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but other than that 10/10."
