The room was quite large and had view over the front. Bathroom ok and there was a kitchen for making a meal downstairs. I don't favour the keybox checking in system and downstairs area very busy but still good value.

It's ok, just.

It's a great location and reasonable price. The room is big but there's maintenance jobs that need doing. And no service from staff to assist with issues or general enquiries, such as ' do you have an ironing board '. I will stay there again cause I know what I am dealing with and I can mitigate the poorer aspects of staying there.

Very misleading, owner not very helpful nor respectful and gave false hope. Not guarenteed to have a kitchen and no one there to help you. The “shared kitchen” which is not stated but the kitchen you get is shared unless you’re one of the lucky few was filthy with food stained which were evidently weeks or months old, so no professional cleaner has been in. The only good thing I will say is the house keeping can do there jobs and the rooms are clean.

Absolutely shocking filthy stinky grotty place! The check in/entrance is frightening, floors are covered in literal rubbish and crumbs and filth - there is a pungent smell of sewage combined with the dirty grease trap from the kitchen, it’s nauseating and I’m not being dramatic. The room, number 8, was big and disgusting - on arrival there was so much dirt including toe nails hair and food crumbs on the cheap laminate floor we actually found a broom and swept up ourselves as the owner said no maintenance or cleaning could be done til the next day?! The kitchenette stank of sewage and we were scared to touch anything because it was so visibly dirty and caked in grease and crust. Do not stay here - awful experience and the owner is unhelpful and doesn’t care.

6pm still no details of how to actually check in! Owner was ignoring my phone calls No bin in room the room was not cleaned for us the kettle was 3 years due a pat test oh and kettle didnt even work! The noise was atrocious til 11pm and then againfrom 5am!! Hair in the shower and sink ill say no more apart from dont book its more like a hostel

Perfect comforty homely feeling

I stay here quite often and it's the first place I check, price is brilliant and it's just what I need. It's clean and tidy, also it's quiet specially where my hubby has work at 5am definitely will stay there again

A nice hotel

The hotel was nice, but it looked like building work was in progress. The room was comfortable, but there was noise from a fan outside the room I assume from a cellar chiller, which was a problem and there was a smell in the bathroom. Other than that it was OK and ciuld easily be made excellent.

My window could not shut so I was in a draught all night which has led to me getting a cold. Due to the window being open the street noise kept me awake. When I did fall asleep the hotel guests next to be woke me up with drunken shouting. As I was exhausted i was absent minded and left my phone charger. The number I was given to call will not answer my call, my email has been ignored. All I want is to arrange for my phone charger to be sent to me.i am happy to pay postage. It’s just RUDE I am being ignored.

The hotel was clean and tidy and I enjoyed my stay, the shower leaked so couldn't use it and the Wi-Fi didn't work but other than that all was good.
