"All the staff were extremely helpful, the hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished and the rooms were lovely. Only a five minute walk into town and some lovely restaurants and bars. Throughly recommend whether you want to relax in Keswick or walk the surrounding hills. The boat trip was lovely and very reasonable, gave access to some pretty spots including the walk Cat Bells."

Huge bed, great bathroom, excellent breakfast with daily specials as well as the usual suspects. Free parking on the road out front (if you can find a space). "We stayed at the Horse and Farrier the night before our hike up Scafell Pike, it's only a 25 minute drive to Seathwaite Parking, if you're going up the corridor route. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. the food was lovely and the room we stayed in was clean, well presented and comfy. Definitely recommend eating nd staying here!"
