Newport Beach: Ferry Ticket to/from Catalina Island
"I was really disappointed with my stay at the Marriott. While the staff was polite, the room was not what I expected. The view I got overlooked a noisy container area and parking lot, so it was really loud. Considering the price, I expected a much better experience. I hope they address these issues in the future."
"We loved our ocean front room! We sat in comfy chairs with the windows open and watched the sunset. Everything was walkable once we were parked and we even slept with our windows wide open (no screens needed).
I do wish parking had been explained a little better. Parking was actually available, but the text between us and the hotel on check in day made it sound like it wasn’t. It actually ended up saving us money by using the pay to park out front, so that was ok.

"Way overrated...location is all it has going for it. Embassy Suites is better for a full service stay. They put us, who booked through Expedia, in a second floor room overlooking the parking lot lol...possibly the worst room they have, when it wasn't even crowded lol. When we went to check out they said the "system is down" and couldn't correctly check us out. A 3 star resort at best. Don't expect a 5 star experience."
