"I absolutely LOVED my stay. I booked a solo trip for my birthday and didn’t have to leave the resort at all except to go to the boardwalk, which is steps away! Everything was very clean and very nice. Check in and parking was a bit confusing at first since the hotel is so big but I quickly got used to it. "My experience at the Showboat was unfortunately poor. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed at. There is no wifi connected in the rooms cause they want you to pay for it. This was an issue for me as I could not do my work. They removed the microwave from each room because they want you to pay $25 USD per day for the use. Everything is a money grab. They don't even provide a simple kettle in the rooms to make a tea. My kids complained the entire time one seen a mice in the buffet. They do...

"Room was dirty and out dated . No TV in the bedroom . My son found pizza under his bed from previous guest and candy wrappers in the draws . There were only big towels no wash clothes . We paid too much money a night for this and left one night early . They also advertised ocean view . No view of the ocean a view of the parking lot . For this price expected much more . Horrible experience . "
