"Overall, I’m very satisfied with the hotel and everything else has been great. I did notice that some of the dishes and utensils were a little dirty. It seems they may not have been properly washed by the previous guest. It would be helpful if the cleaning staff could check them and make sure they are thoroughly cleaned before the next guest arrives. Other than that, everything has been great, and I’m very happy with my stay. Thank you!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean, close to everything and the amenities were good. I am giving 4 stars though because I got into the hot tub and it was clear it had not been cleaed in a while. If I stayed more than one night I would have gotten in touch with the manager. Everything else was good!"

"This is an incredible place to stay. It was problem the best lodge we've ever been to. It has stunning views across the fjord which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It's really well equipped and was always a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you!"

"This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Had to deal with a handful of flies on arrival that were stuck inside or dead but there was a lil vacuum so not a big deal. "

"Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6 1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. "A cozy place to center your activities around. Several pubs and restaurants are just outside the door. Or if you decide to cook, the apartment has everything needed, and a grocery store is a short 5-minute drive. We were able to see puffins at Öxarfjörður, visit Dettifoss on a day trip, and Forest Lagoon is close by to finish off the day. We had no issue with parking overnight at the city center lot since we were out sightseeing during the paid hours anyway."
