I wanted to give an overall excellent rating but unfortunately the size of the bed was a considerable drawback, two small singles joined together. Upping to king singles would make a big difference to the quality of sleep. Apart from that our stay was most enjoyable, thank you."

"This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Had to deal with a handful of flies on arrival that were stuck inside or dead but there was a lil vacuum so not a big deal. "

"Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6 1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. "A cozy place to center your activities around. Several pubs and restaurants are just outside the door. Or if you decide to cook, the apartment has everything needed, and a grocery store is a short 5-minute drive. We were able to see puffins at Öxarfjörður, visit Dettifoss on a day trip, and Forest Lagoon is close by to finish off the day. We had no issue with parking overnight at the city center lot since we were out sightseeing during the paid hours anyway."
