Guest Houses in Northumberland

Hotel was lovely, room was spacious and very clean. Owners were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. The owners could not do enough to help you enjoy your stay. Gave lots of information on the local area and would book restaurants etc if you asked. Highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I booked 2 nights in this Bed & Breakfast establishment because we thought it looked fantastic and the reviews were excellent and we had promised ourselves a special break away from home that was something to remember. We were greeted by Ian and Hazel who showed us to our room and they freely offered us everything that we had hoped for. The room was spotless and comfortable and the choice of breakfast simply amazing. The Lakes are all within easy reach and the views simply...

Very friendly and helpful service

Second visit to this guest house, everything to a high standard with the benefit of great outdoor space and views

Well run Bed and Breakfast within a two min

this is a great option for a visit to Durham if you are prepared to stay outside of the city. Best value for money I have experienced in a long time . Breakfast fantastic something you would pay in excess of £12 in other accommodation Sonia and the rest of her staff are very welcoming . There is only one place I will be staying should I visit the area in the future

Very quiet and peaceful

Made very welcome, there was music and conversation, we were made to feel at home. Great food. we recommend it.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Millie, the friendly house cat. David was very welcoming, and the house & grounds were beautiful. The room and bathroom were both spotless, I've never been to a cleaner hotel. Everything you could need was provided, and we had a quiet sleep. The owner was extremely attentive, even got some decaf coffee for our room. We were able to book into our room early which was very convenient. The room was very clean and even little touches like cotton buds and cotton wool in the bathroom didn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast, wow, excellent, such a hearty meal, lots to choose from again the owner remembered I drank decaf. Attention to detail was excellent and calling me by my first name made it very welcoming and friendly. I will absolutely...
