"I arrived pretty late and I was the last one to check in, the lady who assisted me was polite and helpful. My room was smart and warm. By the way parking was a breeze, didn't struggle to get space. Slept well and the hot full English breakfast was a delight to have. Place is cosy, warm, clean and has exceptional staff. 10 out of 10..."

"Lovely 2 night stay. Great location. Hotel lobby was very welcoming and beautifully presented. Room was very nice, spacious with a comfy double. Room was nice and quiet. Ate an evening meal and had breakfast in the Restaurant. Delicious. Great service from the staff who were polite and attentive. We also made use of the hotel gym. All in all a fantastic stay. "What a little gem of a property. Despite being above a pub, and on a through road of the village, it’s very quiet. Wonderfully clean, and the self serve continental breakfast buffet is well stocked. Great place."

"Enjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay."
