"Good location with parking, comfy beds, big fridge and helpful staff. Pool towels can be requested at reception. Single glazing which does mean you can hear everything outside, and breakfast potatoes were practically raw each day, but breakfast was included and there were lots of other options."

"Bathroom was well updated but the fan was obnoxiously loud and ran continuously when light was on. Floors had several loose boards that responded noisily when stepped upon. The absence of a sitting chair in the room was a frustration. Not sure the logic of providing a 12 cup coffee maker and only one 2 cup coffee packet. Not one charging port just a couple of receptacles not located near a place to lay devices. Irritated that there was a hidden charge for Parking that Hotels.com doesn’t reveal. Maintenance was quick to repair the faulty door hinge that prevented closing the door. This is an older property upon which a lot of lipstick has been applied."

"The room was updated and new. Only interaction with the staff was at check in/out. Cleaning staff cleaned my room well and I had no issues with. The main building that I stay in was under major construction/renovation lots of dirt-hold in the wall- security was non existent because that were work throughout the evening into late night/morning. Parking was great I suppose I would stay there when they finish with renovations. NOTE: it was not advertised or any mention of construction/renovation when I made the reservations on line through this app- at least that I could see or made aware of."

Oceanside Beach Condos

"This unit is located on the north end of the Strand less than 1/2 mile from the pier. It is very convenient to the north Oceanside beach and marina. It's a gated community with an underground parking garage. The location is perfect! While the property has a 90 degree glance for a narrow ocean view. The condo is updated with modern conveniences, though the living room sofa is very worn, dated, has uncomfortable seat cushions and not oriented properly for viewing the TV. This is a sleeper sofa and the seat cushions are compressing into the sleeper bed leaving you with the frame for your thigh support. The dining room and patio furniture are high-top style which can be awkward for some people. Within hours of our arrival, it was apparent that an entire electrical circuit was malfunctioning including the living room TV, sofa lamp, porch light and other dead outlets. Upon closer examination, it seems extension cords were deployed as a temporary workaround for a previously known problem. We called the after hours number and reported the issue. Two electricians were dispatched the following morning and the problem was repaired in 15 minutes. Very impressed with maintenance turnaround, but wondering why it wasn’t handled properly the first time. We have stayed at this unit 4 times, but thinking we will be looking for a different unit in the same complex for the future."
