"We booked the room with the large balcony right off the malecon and the views were stunning from 2 sides. Book this room if you are able. It was amazing to wake up to these views. Hotel is very clean, staff is beyond nice, location is walkable to many great restaurants and our dive shop, parking though small was more than adequate for our needs, beds were comfy and WiFi and AC worked well. "Amazing hotel, with an amazing staff. I have never stayed at a hotel where the entire staff was so helpful, accommodating, pleasant and friendly. My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers. "Casa Mexicana is a great place to stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to the ferry, shops, and restaurants nearby. The only downside is that the pool closes at 9:00 p.m., and I wish the bar stayed open later as well. Monica, the bartender, was very attentive and made our stay fun and enjoyable with her friendly service. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return."

Breakfast was good and filling. Owner was responsive, actually proactive in communicating, making sure we were able to access the property easily, knew where we could go for dinner, etc...
