"Just a couple issues- parking is limited and upon arrival I was given a room that had not been cleaned. BUT! The staff was excellent and took care of the room issue with professionalism and friendliness. The room I was given was spotless. Great hotel, great staff. Breakfast was decent. It was a very good stay and I’d return if I was ever in the area."

"I booked the room to have a weekend with my children. I specifically went there because they had a pool. When I made the reservation, nothing was said to me. When I went in to check in, there was a sign that the pool was closed for inspection. I brought it up to the lady and she was very short with me and made me feel uncomfortable. I did not feel like I could ask to switch hotels due to the awkwardness of the conversation."

"The room was run down and dreary looking. They must be trying to cover something up because the smell of deodorizer was overwhelming. We had to check out and find another place to stay. My allergies were going crazy in that room. The front desk guy was very nice and understanding about the situation."

"Was close to the park , disco bridge, ice shop just behind the park, also could just walk a block or 2 you find great places go eat , mornings we had breakfast at the hotel was great"

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and located within walking distance of fantastic attractions and restaurants. We will 100% stay again if life brings us back to Louisville."

"The mattress needed replacing . Felt like sinking into a hole. Neighbors were up to 2:30 going in and out with a kid that had zero indoor voice. Motorcycle group also staying there reving motors. Not our best stay there. Usually good place...these were not really the hotels fault but I would think the office would hear them or see it on their security monitor that is right at the desk."

"Great spacious suite. Breakfast was ok. Patio area was excellent but necessary to bring your own drinks and food since there is no restaurant. Parking was convenient but not cheap. Great location downtown."

"Absolutely wonderful place! The owner Ron made checking in an absolute breeze, and was there to greet my wife and I at the door. The Mansion is an absolute beauty inside, very well kept, and just reeks of pre Civil War beauty, that one would expect. We were treated to a sit down Breakfast, (don't even think normal hotel stuff) this was made to order, by the innkeeper, who was an absolutely wonderful lady and hostess. This will now be my permanent go-to stay, while in the Louisville area!"

"Hi, real quick. The pool bar had no staff there the entire stay. The "market " had a private function and we were unable to get a coffee or a grab and go sandwich. There were no notice of either amenities being closed. We had to leave the hotel and go to the Marriott for dinner one night because EVERYTHING was closed to the public, even though we were guests for 8 days there. Next time we'll choose a better place with amenities that actually are for all the guests of the hotel"
