"This place is a gem! Absolutely worth it. Beach just a short walk away in a quiet neighborhood supermarket on the side, short distance to Rodadero beach too. There’s a local breakfast place on the corner they sell very good arepas and fresh juices, also tours. The owner Havi and the guide Ivan, good prices and service. We also ate at Beer Gardens it was nice. Definitely will recommend this spot to everyone traveling to Santa Marta "

"The room was clean and very spacious and comfortable. It’s only in place restaurant served good food, but prices are elevated. Most of the amenities and all other restaurants are in the complex, but be prepared to take long walks back and forth. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Walking to the beach will set you 10 min back. And their access road is in deplorable condition."

"It's just basic, but you get what you pay for. The pros: Direct beach access. The beach is tranquil and well maintained. The food at the bar is very good. The chef is outstanding. Pablo and Luis were friendly. The cons: They are stingy with the coffee. The rooms are bare-bones minimal, but clean. The fan is loud and doesn't work well. I travelled with my mom and we booked 2 rooms. I would recommend it more as a hostel for younger travelers. The amenities, service and everything are very basic....

"The property was great . Unfortunately not enough no indooor activities under air conditioning. Weathers tends to be extremely hot and humid. Only Two indoor restaurants one Italian and and the other Japanese. Everything else under open air. Shows are outside on the sand at night. Local area is not very safe at night. Plan on spending money on on excursion which are very pricey. Alcoholic beverages that always available if that is something you want to do everyday. We spent 8 days after all...

I arrived to the hotel after a late night flight, the first staff member was helpful in getting me checked in. "Overcharged for our stay by the front desk! Still waiting for our refund since we came home almost a week ago! The front desk at the Bungalows and Bohios have been very slow at getting back to us too. Food is amazing; never had a bad meal though. The black sand is super pretty. And we had cooler water in our shower the entire stay so if you can’t handle cold showers suggest staying in the hotel."
