"This is not a family resort. The music is blaring at the pool all day long and also in front of the resort by some restaurant or business until late. Rooms are ok but not worthy of the money spent. The online pics make us look much larger and nice than it is in reality. All of this brings in a certain crowd shall we say. Won’t be back."

"The resort is in need of serious repair & renovation. The plumbing didn't with properly & we were instructed to put toilet tissue in the trash instead of the toilet, just disgusting. The shower/tube has drainage issues. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! NEVER RETURNING, DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

"Great Location and Comfortable Rooms, but Operations Could Be Tighter Overall, I had a good stay at Orient Beach Hotel and would rate it 4 out of 5. The rooms are spacious, modern, well-appointed, and easy to navigate. I stayed in a ground-floor unit and really enjoyed the patio, oceanfront view, and breeze. The location is excellent. "My girlfriend and I stayed here this past week in the Mango Suite and it was everything we had ever wished for and more. Julie, of the hotel staff, was amazing and very kind and answered any questions we had. The room was beautiful and we really enjoyed the gorgeous staircase leading up to the suites. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Saint Martin. "Arrived at night and the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but, upon getting checked in and hearing the sound of the water, everything was all good. Room was very nice. We had room #7 and you stepped out of the door and you were literally like 10 feet away from the beach - couldn't have been happier. Nice high ceiling with a ceiling fan. Fridge and two burners to cook if you needed/wanted to and also a microwave. Great location - a 10 minute walk to so many different restaurants and bars...
