The set up where the kids had a pull out couch bed, but it was actually two mattresses was a really nice set up and both the pull out bed and the main bed were extremely comfortable. "We had an amazing stay at Epic Sana. The property is beautiful. One note is that we were surprised that to book sun beds on the beach costs 70 euros a day. I think understand charging some amount, but 70 euros seemed a bit much given that there is no bathroom or shower. Also, have a half day fair would be more beneficial as a few times we were told everything is booked while I saw sunbed available. Staff is nice, food is great. We had great vacation there."

"The hotel is well maintained and I was pleased that the room I stayed in was true to size. Hotel amenities are great, and you can find local bars, eateries, and a supermarket less than 15 mins walk from the hotel. Old town is a 10-15 min drive away. The walking bridge to Falesia beach was super convenient and I was very pleased with how easy the route was to access the beach. I was slightly disappointed and shocked by the lack of female sanitary products available in and around the hotel....

It’s very clean, well-decorated, and modern throughout — I’m honestly not sure where some of the other negative comments online were coming from, as our experience was excellent from start to finish. Staff were polite and genuinely helpful the whole stay. Breakfast had a great selection to suit all needs. "The property is really big, we drove there with a rented car from Lisbon. When you first get in, it feels intimidating, but once you find the main check-in counter, it is smooth sailing from there. We met someone by the name of Marvin, who was our trip angel. He was so kind, and helpful and expecting nothing in return. The property is incredibly beautiful to the point of speechlessness. "The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!"

There are a variety of places to snack and drink. Plenty of things to do for the kids at the pool and playgrounds (football ground, ping-pong, pool tables etc…) The staff is very welcoming and it makes the stay very relaxed. "Stayed for 4 nights with my elderly mother before heading to Lisbon then Porto. We couldn’t be happier with every aspect of this resort. The concierge graciously helped us find a wheelchair rental to help get around the property and many restaurants on site. Selena and the other host at the breakfast buffet were so kind and greeted us each day with a big smile and genuine hospitality we’ll never forget.
