"We absolutely loved our stay at Khao Lak Oriental Resort. We stayed in a swim-up room, which was amazing and really made our holiday extra special. The hotel has a lovely traditional Thai style and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was cleaned every day and the whole hotel was spotless. Beds and towels were changed whenever requested, and the housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. There was a great selection at breakfast, with plenty of choice, and all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect for us. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the main strip, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops, but there are also several bars and restaurants right on the doorstep if you don't fancy the short walk. We would definitely recommend the Khao Lak Oriental Resort and would happily stay here again. A lovely Thai-style hotel, fantastic staff, great location and a wonderful swim-up room — everything we could have asked for!"

"We had one of the best family holidays so far at this hotel (now with a toddler). The pools, the water park and the kids club kept the kids entertained every day. Many activities for kids as well as adults, in the hotel and in the surrounding area. Great selection of food as well. Hotel is well equipped with all the amenities you'd need. The staff were amazingly helpful and polite. My son got surprised for his birthday with a room set up and a cake, which we hadn't even mentioned specifically to them, we thought was a beautiful gesture by The Sands. Sad to end our wonderful holiday here, but leaving already with hopes to be back."

The resort is surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and gardens, creating a peaceful little oasis in Khao Lak. Even though you are close to the restaurants, shops, and everything happening around Khao Lak, the resort itself is remarkably quiet and relaxing. That is something I really appreciate. There is no need to rush. You can have breakfast, take a walk through the gardens, relax by the pool, and simply enjoy the day. 🍳 THE BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD I have really enjoyed the breakfast here. The food is tasty, there is a good selection, and it is a very pleasant way to start the morning. A good breakfast, followed by a quiet morning around the resort, is a great way to enjoy Khao Lak. 😊 THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT One of the biggest reasons I have enjoyed my stay is the staff.
