"The place is great and walking distance to everything. Room was clean and customer service was excellent. I saw negative reviews about parking...the parking in front is a little tight, but the lot in the alley always had spots and was easy to get in and out. If you need your window open, it is a little noisy in the morning because it's such an enclosed space."

"We enjoyed our stay! Coronado has a small town feel, it’s walkable, the beach is spacious, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in town. It’s just a short ride to other attractions in San Diego. Cherokee Lodge is comfortable and affordable. They have beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys available to borrow. There’s a continental breakfast served daily, with cookies, bottles of water and coffee available all day. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood with little traffic. It’s very peaceful!"
