We tried to turn the air conditioning on, but they have the air-conditioning shut off. The only option was heat. They told us to open the window. We were right by the street so that really wasn’t great but it was the only option. We realized the problem is actually that the bathroom smelled funky. If we kept the bathroom door closed all the time the room...

"Junior suite that wecwere in had a stupid shower unit placed in the middle, spilling water everywhere. Breakfast was fresh but outdoor service pitifully slow. Had to make a take-away arrangement with the helpful concierge to tie in with a taxi pick-up."

"We had the beautiful patio room with an amazing view of Taormina and the sea. Room was spacious and clean. Close to shops and sights. A little short on basic amenities, like a simple box of tissues. And while somewhat charming, access to hotel is in the middle of a flight of an ancient stone staircase, which was challenging with luggage in the rain, No real reception, you get a code to the main door. The man at their little office was cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed our visit to Taormina a...

"The view from our hotel balcony was worth the price of the room. Very convenient to walk up to the Palace/fortress of Taormina, down to the main shopping street and across to the Roman amphitheater. Breakfast outstanding. "
