I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Watford and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

"The staff (all of them) are exceptional. They are polite, very efficient and extremely friendly. The hotel is very clean, and our room was lovely. This hotel is very close to Watford Junction and The Harry Potter Studios Tour shuttle bus. I’d say between a two to five minute walk. There is a fabulous shopping mall in the town centre, due to the weather we got a taxi both ways and it was only £5-£6 each way depending on the traffic. It’s easily walkable though. "Ideal location for travelling in to Wembley. 10 mins from Watford junction by car. Ample parking space, food options on site but also good value for money carvery less than 5 mins away. Check in/out hassle free , staff warm and friendly. Room clean and well looked after. Paid in advance for breakfast which was well worth it. Plenty of options th choose from. All in all a comfortable and pretty seamless experience. Only downside was my team lost at Wembley. "

"This hotel was overall okay. The room we were in had seen better days -- Peeling laminate, scuffing on walls. However it was fairly clean. The shower had water pressure!
There were only two outlets in the entire room and one was dedicated to the fan.
The biggest issue we had was heat. The air con was out, and were were staying in a heat wave. The room's window only opened a tiny sliver due to a cable lock, so we could not get relief even at night. The fan's cord was not long enough to reach...
"I stayed here for one night with my dad ready for the guns and roses concert at Wembley Stadium! We were in a spacious twin room that was very clean, and had comfortable beds! My only gripe with the room was the squeaky floor boards that were present everywhere you walked within the room, as well as in the hallway leading to the room, although this was a little on the annoying side, it was completely liveable for the one night!
