1. Rooms were very clean but very small. I always stay in the chain hotels and this was my first time staying in the local hotel because of the proximity to my work. I paid the same price as I would have paid for Holiday Inn Express which was about 1.2km away but had a much bigger room size and included breakfast.
2. No refrigerator in the room.
3. Anytime I step out of the hotel I was mandated to hand back the keys at the front desk, I don't know why.
4. Staff was very nice and friendly, no doubt.
5. I booked the hotel through Expedia, and price included all the taxes and the amount shown was final but when I checked in, I had to pay the taxes for the City of Paris because the staff said that the taxes were not paid. Not only that, I also paid for the breakfast when I booked but the staff said breakfast is not included, the second surprise.
So be careful about what Expedia says. Expedia or the hotel needs to resolve this issue, one of these is wrong for sure but I will let them figure out. All I know that I had to pay extra which I was not aware of and was shocked to pay at the last minute. You don't want to be surprised like that.
