"I stayed in a smaller room. This is my 2nd visit. My only complaint is the pillows they are awful. Everything else is good. Staff super helpful, great easy parking. Nice touches like the fridge and coffee machine downstairs."

"This is a 5 star hotel and is away from the city centre. It’s quite a distance from the national express coach station but closer to the Flix Bus stop. It’s uphill from downtown and nobody knows where it is. We have asked 3-4 people to finally find the hotel behind a hill. The breakfast was more than we had asked for. It’s so fancy with all kinds of hot and cold food you can imagine. There’s mango purée, fresh berries juice, regular milk, yogurt, soy and oats milk, etc. It’s like having lunch...

"Upon entering from the hotel carpark we were meant by a crowd of young men clutching beers, one man pushed into us then started shouting at us to “ Use our voice” several times . This left us shaken up and worried incase we bumped into this group again . We are an older couple and dont expect this from a Leonardo hotel . We were given the wrong email address to complain to and the manager the next morning stated sometimes the hotel has unruly guests and they cant control how they behave...

"Unfortunately we were put in a room that faces the road where there are ongoing roadworks. These went on all through the night, we gave up at 7 am and went for breakfast then headed straight home. The lorries were constantly back and forth with reversing alarms going. I have complained to premier inn but they accept no responsibility for placing guests in rooms while this work continues. Avoid Waterloo Street Birmingham for the time being."

"Late check in, staff left us waiting for a couple of minutes at the desk waiting to be attended to, we asked for a quiet room and the receptionist acknowledged this and gave us 2119 saying that it was at the far end of the corridor away from the lift and we were really pleased that our request had been acknowledged and catered for. We then discovered that it was actually the room closest to the lift. We went back doiwn and explained and the staff member realised that they didn't know the floor...

"Perfect location! Quaint spot just outside of the city centre close to UoB. Sam and reception staff incredibly friendly. We could have chatted for hours if we didn't have an itinerary of things we needed to complete before the end of the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Two minute walk to the lively restaurants and Bars, Hotel has its own car park underneath with a multi-storey across the side road. Enjoyed the relaxation at the hotel which had its own bar and restaurant and prices were reasonable. We would visit again."

"The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was poorly planned and difficult to use. There was no shower enclosure or demarkation (even a sill or ledge on the floor to keep the water somewhat contained would have been helpful). The rainhead shower and the shower wand sprayed the entire room. There are no hooks to hang up your towels. The bathroom is small and the lighting is dim. All your luggage must go on the floor as there is no luggage rack or spare chair to set anything on. Overall,...
