"The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent. Location was ideal, near to all the attractions. We found the local pub next door’s very friendly."

"A lovely base for us, everything we needed and lots of space. Thank you, host was very helpful."

"The property was lovely, spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, showers worked well. Kitchen was clean and plenty of utensils. Only 2 tea bags and small amount of coffee in a jar that had been used previously. And opened used bag of sugar so wasn't too happy about that. We bought our own cleaning stuff as we were there for 4 nights, although there was cleaning stuff left for us. Ive stayed in some places and they've left better supplies of tea etc and even water bottles. Other then that...

"This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again."

"A real gem of a place. Got an upgraded room which was comfortable, large and clean. Helpful staff. As xxx pi"

"Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. Helen even asked me what milk we drink and made sure there was a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge on arrival.. Thanks Helen. The bed and the sofa were...

"Very friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant was great, lovely atmosphere and great food. They also serve an excellent breakfast. A great place to stay"

"This was a very comfortable stay. The area was beautiful as was the building. The staff were lovely and our bed was very comfortable for a great sleep after a long day on the road sight seeing. Thank you for your lovely accommodation - 10/10"

"Room was lovely, staff were friendly"

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

"Cosy set up , and reasonably priced , Parking was nearby . Would definitely stay again ."

"Molto accogliente, comodo, e immerso nella natura. La proprietaria, Vanessa, è stato molto accogliente e disponibile per facilitare l’arrivo e avere suggerimenti sui posti da visitare"

"The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

"We had an incredible stay in a beautiful location. Lovely see views from the balcony (perfect for morning yoga). The upside down living made the most of the views. The two rooms, one with a double and one with 2 single bunks were perfect for our family of 4 with 2 pre-teen children. Everything was clean and homely. We loved taking the footpath near the front of site from the main road, down to Port Garverne at the for see dips and dinner at Pilchards where the flavours were delicious, and also...

"Delightful accommodation, very comfy and perfect for a couple. Well sited for the SW coast path and/or the Eden Project."
