I would not recommend staying at The Golfers Inn. Our experience on 5/07/26 was very disappointing. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the rooms were extremely dirty. We found hair and dirt in the bed, which made it obvious the sheets had not been properly changed. We asked for another room, but the second room was dirty as well. Room 228 had a broken bathroom door, and cigarette smoke was coming through the vents the entire time. The overall condition of the property felt unsanitary and poorly maintained. This place seriously needs better management, proper cleaning, and major improvements before guests should consider staying here. Be warned.

Booked this place in the basis of solid reviews of Expedia. Upon entering looked like place could use an update. Heard some rustling at night. Woke up next morning to see a mouse had gotten into a sealed chocolate bar. Bathroom still had an opened bar of soap in shower and two bobby pins on the floor. Lighting outside of window was bright and blinds barely blocked it. Smoke detector was covered, presumably by previous occupants and I only noticed on the way out. One of the pillows had no sheets. TV was very fuzzy, hard to watch. Fridge didn't work. Bathroom door got stuck and was hard to get out of. After leaving I read some pretty negative reviews about other seeing bedbugs. While I did not see any. As a precaution I now have all my cloths in dryer. On a positive note, the bed was decent and there was no noise. Hope owners can update

I was not expecting much, but this place was bad. Room had trash left from the previous guests and it was clear the room was not cleaned. The entire space was pretty filthy. Not vacuumed in the last year. Trash accumulating everywhere. I booked because I thought 3 stars wouldn't be so bad. It was.

Aging property, some bad smells in part of the corridors, and nothing in the vending machines. The room was pretty good, but bad TV service. It was OK for one night.

I stayed for one night and had a really pleasant experience. The room was clean and felt well cared for, which made it easy to relax. The bed was comfortable, and everything was just as I needed. It was definitely worth the price, and I’d happily stay again.

The rooms were filthy with feces stuck on the toilet seats. Crumbs were left on the tables and the outside walking area had trash on the floor which looked to be there for a long period of time. I do not recommend staying there and left after viewing the room for 5 mins.

I just needed a simple and comfortable place to rest, and this motel was exactly what I was looking for. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and made the stay even more pleasant—great value and I’d happily come back again.

Someone here clearly used bots to gain a 5 star rating when I booked. I showed up and it looked like no one had vacuumed the halls during the last month. I watched a worker at the "inn" roll a piece of candy from the middle of the hall to the edge of the hall. After realizing I had been duped, I started checking the room for bed bugs since there were reports of bed bugs there 6 months prior, and found instead what looked like vomit on the box spring cover. I took a picture, asked for a refund, but of course, I made the mistake of booking through a third party, so I was moved to another room. Then the staff came back and asked me where I found the mess on the box spring and asked if I would walk across the hotel to show them. I don't know if they had switched out the box spring cover, or just couldn't find it, but I showed them the picture and told them again which corner. I don't know that I've stayed in a dirtier hotel since I was like 20. Disgusting. Done booking third party as well since I couldn't get anyone from this site on the phone to rectify the situation. Awful hotel. check the other reviews for videos of mice in rooms.

We arrived in Philadelphia around 11 PM and checked into the hotel. Right from the start, the experience was disappointing—the lobby smelled strongly of tobacco and marijuana, despite the hotel being advertised as a non-smoking environment. When we entered the room, it was honestly shocking. I have never seen a place so dirty. The carpets were covered in dirt and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bed sheets did not appear clean and had a strong musty smell. As for the bathroom, it was in such poor condition that I didn’t even feel comfortable using it normally. If you are traveling with your family, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. It was an extremely unpleasant experience from beginning to end.
