"Air conditioning was perfection nice and cool in the warm humid climate outside. We had the only room on the top floor/rooftop which was very nice. Clean room and no issues during our stay. Location was perfect for exploring old san juan. "

We arrived earlier than we expected and they offered to hold our luggage for us, while also giving us recommendations on places to eat or visit while we waiting for our room to be ready. They had a wonderful live piano performance in the lounge while we were served drinks at the bar. It truly made our visit so much more comfortable! I highly recommend this stay! "

"Location is excellent , the detail and colonial style is beautiful, felt cozy and very warm , like if we are in our grandparents house. Now the bad part, the bathrooms needs a lot of TLC, like a full remodeling, vanity, toilets and shower. The are in poor condition. In our room, toilet was wobbly, vanity is very old and shower needs attention like urgent. "

"A "quaint" old hotel in Old San Juan, kept up with very well. If you want hundreds of souvenir shops to walk in and out of it's very convenient. Restaurants and bars seemed to be harder to find. No real amenities at the hotel, did not see anyone using the hot baths or jacuzzi. Coffee in the lobby near the front door in the morning, had to get a hair dryer from the front desk. It served it's purpose for the overnight stay."

"We stayed for two nights with kids. The hotel has many fun activities for the whole family. The staff is so friendly (Housekeeping, front desk, pool staff, and etc! All very friendly) We did a cabana on our pool day, and our server Gabriel was awesome. Very attentive and allowed us to have separate bills. He was very patient and kind to the kids in our group. "This was the worst hotel we have ever encountered through Expedia. Unsafe stairs both to get to the room and within the room. We never saw a staff person anywhere. I'd call it a dump."
