"Overall the place was good. Location is on a hill with narrow windy street, so can be tiring walk back. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Only major con is room smelled a bit like mold/meldew and water would get everywhere when you showered because there is only one door with limited coverage. Pool area and bar were nice."

"Double Sea View Room. I will qualify this by saying that it may just be us, but at this price point we expected much better. Perhaps for this location it's more of a budget hotel? They put us on the first floor (one up from street level). Really lousy view, trees, cars, 2 light poles shining into our room, but you can see the boats. "The lunch/dinber menu was lovely. We ordered the burger and chips and mango chicken wrap and chips, really tasty, reasonably priced. Breakfast in hotel was buffet style, plenty to choose from, even one of the team did made to order omelettes. Highly recommend. Room was spacious and nice feature balcony directly over looking pool. "Breakfast was quite varied but disappointed with the tea and coffee. There is no barista style coffee and waiters bring a pot of coffee (bad coffee in my opinion). If you would like an English tea then there is no cold milk for this and it is very difficult to find someone who understands and then you to wait a very long time if you ask a waiter for something. "Nice hotel, room was basic but did the job. Probably in need of an upgrade soon. The two areas for improvement; Breakfast - no gluten free options Noise - for the 3 night stay, I was woken every night by noise outside ( I was on the 5th floor) and by drilling at 7am on a Friday morning on the pavement. Staff very friendly though and overall a decent option for a short break"
