"Train station being close is about the only good thing this place has to offer. You have to make it past the bar with a bunch of rowdy drunks talking trash to you just to check in. Whoever took the pictures for this place deserves a raise. The room is tiny. The mattress is old. The bathroom is gross. The carpet is gross. "Nice hotel in heart of Birmingham. Close To nice restaurants, sites, etc. Room wasn’t ready as we arrived early so upgraded to a lovely 6th floor suite. All was very nice, comfortable bed, extras in the room. Only complaint was WiFi was weak. "

Bar food and drinks were nice but disappointing that on Expedia (who we booked through) it said pets stay free but on arrival charges were applied for the dog which is why I’ve given a lower rating.
