"The room was freshly renovated. The beds were huge. I unfortunately had a sick relative in the hospital nearby. This was a very convenient location to stay. The staff doing late check in were great and they were and have been super compassionate and helpful during and after my stay. I would highly recommend for location and customer service. I would in particular mention the manager Paoula who was outstanding in the level of customer service she delivered when I had a difficult query."

"Room was dirty and smelly. Front desk staff was okay but not very attentive. Water was super cold. I also got stuck outside in the middle of the night and could not get into the hotel. Was out in the cold and had to jump a fence at the back to get in. "

"Great place to stay 9 hole golf course on site. Staff very friendly all rooms on ground floor beds very comfortable "

"Great base for exploring Birmingham, convenient for public transport (although the bus does stop at midnight on Saturday!) Comfortable, if basic - the one recommendation I'd make to the owners is to get a curtain for the back door, as you do get woken up by the sun in the morning"
