"Very comfortable hotel in an excellent location right next to the Somerset MRT station and Orchard Road shops and restaurants. Fort Canning and the river were also easily walkable. The rooms were quiet and a good size. Show stopper is the large rooftop pool and bar which has the best view in Singapore towards Marina Bay Sands. We would certainly stay again. "

"Not big, but very well organised rooms. Great hotel location. Perfect value for money option. Small cons (but they didn’t affect us much): Pool is closed during rain, we didn’t find any dumbbells in the gym, and the phone in our room didn’t work. Other than that I would say it is the perfect choice! "

"My son and I stayed at Lyf for 5 nights in February 2026, visiting from America. We absolutely loved the fact that it’s inside a mall & the mall itself is amazing, can’t get any better than that, right? Oh yes it can, the location is absolutely top tier, close to all the major spots & Fort Canning park is right across the street. You can literally get there from a bridge inside the mall. How awesome is that. Housekeeping, the front desk staff & breakfast (which you get free if you’re an Ascott member - sign up is free) were also amazing. Highly recommend."
