"I booked this stay after seeing some of the pictures from the website. Really liked the lake front and beach bar never seen other places that have a 24 hour pool. Only thing I didn’t know when arrived that the lobby is at the top of driveway when coming off the street walked back up hill to check in."

"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."

"The hotel is dated and could use some renovations. It is located right on the shore and offers direct access to the beach. There is also a fire pit on the patio. These features helped compensate for the hotel’s somewhat worn condition."

"Nothing can be blamed on front line staff when it comes to this disgrace of a hotel. This is a matter attributed to owner/management. The rooms were in a horrible state with stains on the floors, carpets, etc. The bathrooms, plaster, and fixtures were rusted and falling apart. Breakfast was disgusting and consisted of a picture of Fruit Loops taped to a plastic dispenser, an unplugged waffle maker, along with a coffee and juice dispenser, both of which weren’t functioning. "I love this place. The rooms are cozy and cute and the hotel is right on the lake. Very fun place even with the waterpark under construction."

"The lakefront room was newly redecorated and very nice. The shower was hot and good water pressure. The pool was not opened yet (since outside) and the hot tub also was not opened and may not be anymore either. We loved the view of the lake. It was a good view and place to relax with our dog. One note is that the beach was not pristine as the photos - it needed some attention to make it a place to layout and kids to play on beach."

"We chose this place because they said it was clean. Someone had peed in the toilet and did not flush it, we contacted the property and they did not clean it before we checked out. I chose this room because it had a jacuzzi tub which I did not use because I didn't feel it was clean."

"I rented an Accessible Room, I am a Bilateral AKA traveler. There was a shower but the hand held shower head I could not reach if I could have used the bathroom! No wall fold down chair or shower removable chair. When questioned staff they stated that they meet ADA requirements! Yet they have violated every clause of ADA, false advertising. I could not use there breakfast amenities due to no room for someone in a wheelchair or for that matter a walker would not get through their facilities! If...

"The ceiling tiles is almost falling apart from being wet wth the rain . The bath tub has stains all over ! The fridge is covered with dust from the ceiling pieces . Breakfast is ok . The room needs a lot of improving ."
