"The Arbutus Inn is a jewel. This property is fully renovated with a beautiful lobby, new carpets in hallways and the rooms are well appointed with new floors/carpets and bathrooms/kitchenette. The location is just north of downtown Victoria and offered a quiet overnight The staff were super and arrival and departure were both quick and very helpful. "We had a fantastic stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was SO comfortable, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel and appointments. We slept for 12 hours and could have spent the entire day in bed if we had the time. Location is outstanding. Staff were very professional and friendly. We loved our stay and plan on booking again when we return!"

"Splendid facility , immaculately clean with an extraordinary helpful staff that never stopped asking us if we needed anything else. Gold Level service allowed us a sumptuous free breakfast and an afternoon snack bar that substituted for dinner a number of times. We swam in the Health Club pool every morning and then head up for breakfast down the hall from our room. No view for us, but other rooms certainly had one. Expensive, but you get your money worth."
