"I will forever compare hotel stays to this place as it set the bar for what I like in a hotel. Loved the decor inside and all the dimmable lighting options. The bar downstairs was great as well as all the seating options, though admittedly the seating fills up fast. I will def return."

We also happened to stay here during a heat wave and there was no real A/C or fan in the room to cool it down quickly. "The staff were very helpful. The place was functional. Breakfast area was a little messy but what can you expect when so many guests took advantage of it? Our particular room was kind of dirty when we checked in. The bed was made but there was trash and crumbs about. However, the shower was great and stayed hot the whole time. The bed was uncomfortable and made sleep difficult."

"Unfortunalaty the elevators were out and we carried out luggage upstairs (3rd floor). I am 66 with a knee brace. They offered to have luggage brought up but we could not wait due to commitments. The room was at 80 degrees when we arrived and had to rush to prepare to our appointment in 15-20 minutes so it seemed even hotter. We tried to get a drink but took a while as bar tender was fixing a keg and getting ice. When we tried to leave he was no where to be found so the desk attendant took care...

"Great value for a simple, clean, comfortable hotel room. I didn’t find the room to be “small” at all like other reviews mentioned… pretty average for what you’d expect in the area. It was great for a solo traveler / couple. AC works, staff was helpful, and amazing food in the area— all the Caribbean food your heart desires. I stayed here to walk to a concert at King’s Theater, highly recommend."
