"This was the perfect hotel to stop in Port Hardy. Its location is central and only a short distance to the waterfront. The room was well appointed, clean and quiet. We ate dinner at the pub, typical pub fare, good service. Parking is easy with self-parking all around the building. We had an early departure for the ferry and no issue with early check-out. We would stay here again!"

"If you are looking for a bare bones basic room to get by, this is a fine option. No frills but it does have a nice view. If you are looking for any level of nice/luxury, this is not the place for you"

"I was absolutely amazed by the amenities at the Red Lion Inn! The full kitchen and bath made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient, just like having our own little home base. The location is perfect—right on the Galloping Goose Trail, so we could step out and enjoy beautiful walks whenever we wanted. The cleanliness throughout the property was spotless and impressive. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. Their helpfulness and kindness were next-level....

"Older property but feels freshly renovated. Staff friendly and helpful. Gym is big but equipment could be updated. Only downside was waiting 30 minutes for breakfast. Seemed very slow with only a few tables busy but everyone waiting."
