"It is an older hotel so expect no elevators but the helpful staff will gladly help you to your room, and the noise between walls floors might be more noticeable because of that but the charm, coziness, pricepoint & staff friendliness makes up for that. "The location is perfect and if you are into history the Fairmont oozes it. We had a couple issues while we were there. The room was on the city side and very loud-our neighbors also had kids and a dog-It happens & not the hotels fault. Parking was expensive-$25+ a day. But my fault for not checking. "Our first time staying at this resort and it was exceptional. The staff were welcoming, the room was exceptionally clean, and very warm and inviting with the fireplace on a cool rainy day.
