"Such a beautiful Boutique property. The resort was exactly as pictured. Great location, 40 min taxi ride from Ubud, escaping the hustle and bustle of a busy city overwhelmed by tourists and traffic. The staff are friendly and attentive. My favourite was the breakfast fruit smoothies, different every day, and so yummy. Special mention to Emma, Yulia, Lenang and Musgi for their warmth and knowledge of the area. Sebatu hosts new restaurants and cafes, a lovely 20-minute stroll from Ellena Resort."

"It's a very atmospheric place, and I don't regret staying there overnight. I can recommend it, but understand that this is a house in the countryside and there might be small insects in the room. "The villa offers great value for money. Both it and a nearby restaurant are owned by the same person making it possible to enjoy meals at any time of the day. The rooms and the courtyard are kept clean daily and the staff are happy to offer any additional assistance requested.
