"La chambre était très propre. Toutefois, à la première flush de la toilette le bouchon n'est pas redescendu dans le réservoir et celui-ci n'était pas accessible car dans le mur. Malgré notre appel pour la maintenance, personne n'a répondu. J'ai donc défait moi-même l'appli sur le mur pour accéder au réservoir et redescendre le bouchon à la main. Pendant toute la période de notre présence, nous n'avons vu personne de l'établissement. Il y a des fruits, du café et les céréales pour le matin mais...

"Newly renovated, clean, and modern. Excellent location with the stop for the free shuttle to the train station in front of hotel. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the river a block away. Despite the location it was relatively quiet. Lots of eateries within 5 minute walking distance. Cute rooftop bar area and very nice breakfast area and good breakfast that included eggs, bacon and sausages. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had requested early check in but could not get it when...

"Property located at unmarked location down an alley, numeric keypad entrance. We received no check-in instructions or keycode in advance . We phoned the number listed to discover that one needed to check in at the front desk of the nearby Hotel Oslo. Anyone's guess why Expedia or the property didn't simply advise us of this in advance The room itself was on two floors, up a steep flight of stairs to get to the first of the 2 floors (no elevator, which is not uncommon in Europe though). ...

"Great service by staff, especially at the reception desk and bar. Breakfast not best quality, even though they offer a variety (i.e coffee at expresso machine and “bacon” not good). Location is a 20+ minute walk from main attractions such us pedestrian bridge Pedro and Ines. To go to university of Coimbra definitely need a taxi, but you can come back on foot as long as it is still daylight. "

"Oh what a lovely hotel. It is a cozy, extremely well located place. It’s like a boutique hotel: self checkin and out but the place is implacably clean and the help is always there in case you need clean towels and blankets. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Complimentary tea and coffee was a plus. Would go back and recommend."

Note that checkin is at a hotel 5 - 10 minutes from apartment so if you don’t want to carry your bags up lots of stairs, ask the reception how to get to the apartment without using the stairs or use Google maps ( wheelchair access) to find the flat route, although still slightly uphill,"
