"Our room was missing the mirror, behind the nightstands were extremely dirty. We went to the continental breakfast at 8:30 to find almost everything gone. "

"Our room was great! We had a king room and it was comfortable,great design features and spacious. Climate controlled and comfy! Parking was not an issue because it was the weekend and we could park in the two hour only spaces overnight- otherwise you probably need to valet for 25.00 a day. Not a big issue but just know that when you are booking. There is a Starbucks and some convenience type food options. No real dining options onsite. Again, not really an issue if you plan accordingly. Great stay! Quiet, friendly, clean and all around great place to stay in South Bend. "

"There was garbage in the ice bucket, there was a pad in the Kleenex box, there were only 2 towels, when we asked for more the front desk lady was very rude and never brought us any. We had to go to the store and get some towels, the phone was broken and maintenance never came to look at it, the remote didn’t work for the tv. The coffee maker in the room didn’t work instead of water going in the cup it all came out of the bottom all over the counter. "

"Business trip- they charge 14.00 for breakfast if you want to “walk in” or you get coupons per day. My room smelled so moldy the whole stay! My view was dirty snow on a roof. The elevator was out the day I left- I had to take the stairs with several bags as I’ve been gone all week for work. Breakfast was the exact same thing daily- you’d think that would change… it didn’t for 4 days. I’m often in the area and have stayed at a lot of holiday inns in the area - this one ranks as one of the lower ones, the breakfast lady was the nicest person in the hotel. The maids wore ear buds so it took several minutes to get the attention to ask for a coffee pod. "
