"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Rooms were well equipped with thoughtful detail and spacious. Bathroom was well equipped with safety rail and bathmat provided. Good range of bathroom accessories. Parking was fine but we arrived early and the carpark was full by short time later. Poor choice at breakfast. No continental breakfast availability No flexibility. My wife had cereal and toast and we had two teas. Not a pot of tea. Cost was too high, Very good serving staff. "
