"Wow. This was an amazing experience. The woman who greeted and took care of us (Emma?) was the most wonderful host and the hardest working person I have ever met. The room was fantastic with a great view and the experience in general was magical. The only downside was that the published open times for the tavern were not correct and the links in their welcome books seemed broken. Everything else, fantastic. A great find in a historic space. Worth every penny. "

Property well positioned to enable us easy access to Stratford where we had come to visit. We didn't have the breakfast as we needed to leave early so unable to comment on this aspect. "

"Two dogs kept me awake all night. Pet friendly is ok if they are quiet but two dogs in same room barking at everything "

"The ceiling was leaking liquid down the bathroom wall. The room was not set up for 2 people. There should be a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo, wash gel, etc. Could not figure out how to turn on towel warmer. Upside is the you g lady at the reception desk was very responsive. "

"A lovely little place hidden away in the countryside and very reasonably priced. The Room was light, airy, spacious and spotlessly clean. The Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Food was delicious. We will definitely come back again"

"One night stay to see Eric Bibb at the Warwick Art Centre and the hotel was wonderful. We had a corner room with small patio. The room was clean, modern, bathrooms good size, Nespresso machine, water and treats. The bed and linen was very comfortable. Bar had a good food menu and breakfast included with lots to choose from. "Easy to find and fantastic big car park at the back of the hotel which was included in the price of our stay. Lovely warm room, comfortable bed and great shower. There was a good breakfast selection but staff didn’t interact with customers and didn’t clear our table once during our 2 day stay. I hate dirty pots around me!! Also no conversation with restaurant staff about alternatives for breakfast as only had fried eggs on offer at self selection. I asked for poached eggs and it took them over...

"A lone female traveller i was expecting something very different as reviews were very good. All i wanted as a quiet restful evening and sleep. The check in is at the bar, which was already busy at 4.30. The rooms are above the bar and some further away. I was told by the really helpful lads at the bar that there was a band playing that evening finishing at 12. My room overlooked the very busy car park which would have been very noisy at kick out. "Easy to park, helpful staff, easy access to the pub next door for dinner. Recommend for a good value overnight stay."
