"Hotel is room was fair, however there were makeup stain on the dress gowns. Reception staff could have been better, as they weren't very helpful when we asked for directions to the hotel restaurant. "Arrival at the hotel the reception area is beautiful with a lovely aroma to greet you. Staff found our booking easily & checkin was good. Disappointed initially to find out the cocktail bar is closed on the 2 nights that we had booked to stay, didn’t see this on the website. "Jonny, the host was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Cannot be faulted. Room and en suite basic, but bed clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage drawers, small table and chairs a nice touch. Shower room small but clean, with good shower pressure. Although above a pub, the rooms are unexpectedly quiet. Budget-friendly - if you want all the “bells & whistles”, then you’d have to pay much more for a room. Well worth the money."
