"We stayed in an room across the car park from the main building. The room was a good size, very modern and clean with a good shower and modern TV. Staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was good quality with good cereal and fruit juice options. Well worth a visit. "

"Really nice clean room and the staff were more than helpful and friendly however the food was unfortunately a disappointment with the rib eye steak being of poor quality, the onion rings being undercooked and the mushrooms being cold. The wait for food was also longer than expected. "

"Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. "We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay "

We had dinner and breakfasts throughout our 4 night stay and all were good and adaptable to our requirements. Rooms were maintained immaculately. The one problem for a large man like me was the bed size. We had a twin room and the beds are very narrow. But that was the only issue we faced and we'd definitely...
