"A characterful hotel in a great location. Our room was very spacious and in the old part of the hotel, full of old beams and quirky corners. Bed was large and comfortable. "Loved the historical aspect of the hotel. Very convenient to the center of town and the cathedral ..The staff was excellent. The dining was very good and the courtyard and its resident cat delightful. The only I didnt like was there is no lift to get to the upper rooms…the stairs were very narrow. Summer could be a bit hot as there is no AC but that is common in Europe and the Uk. Would definitely stay again. "

Only downside was the building works and workmen outside our window, a little unsightly and workmen very unexpected. Everything else perfect.
