"John at the front desk is awesome!!! All the staff is great that I’ve encountered. However at the price point it’s at there are other options. I’ve stayed several times and I love the location, but the condition of the rooms is slowly degrading. Not saying I won’t stay again, but I am going to look at newer options. Also my other major complaint is the pool is only open to 10pm for kids, way too often the kids want to go in the pool after a long day out but it’s too late for the pool. I really...

"Loved the location, room was very clean and big. Parking was good, able to park right in front of our room, we were on bottom floor which was great for us. Staff was informative, told us not to leave food in car because of bears and we had friends staying somewhere else that they truck got attacked by bear. So good advice for us. Would definitely stay there again."

"Do not EVER STAY at Holiday Inn Express in Gatlinburg. One of our worst experiences ever at any hotel we’ve ever been to. So many things I can’t even list them all but most importantly was the fact we were charged over three times the amount of what our actual rate was for our stay and they charged our card that amount three times.
