The staff are superb, a real highlight The pool is nice and needed The breakfast is fine, coffee is good The pool area could do with some TLC to smarten up The rooms also a dash of investment The location is great and v good for the colosseum and restaurants 100% recommend

Could be the perfect location

We were VERY happy with pur stay. Raphael greeted us with Proseco and explained to us alot about Rome since it was pur first time. The location is EXCELLENT. 15min walk to the Coleseum. Lots of resteraunts around within walking distance. The staff was kind and extremely accomodating.

Great location, great stay

Lovely hotel in a great location. Near to the Metro and easy to walk to many of the attractions. The staff there are really friendly and the breakfast was really good. Definitely going to stay there again.

This property is centraly located in the heart of Rome in a quite neighborhood. The Colosseum is a few minutes walk away and the metro station is around the corner. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast served is amazing, perfect to start the day! I will stay here again.

This place is incredible, a sanctuary in rome. If i went back to rome i would stay here without hesitation. Walking distance to colloseum and restaurants and the pool and courtyard were so relaxing.

This hotel was close to Circo Massimus and the Colosseum. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast spread was the best of any hotel I stayed at in Europe. The property was lush with gardens, a pool and loungers to relax on. I highly recommend it!!

Amazing urban resort in the heart of Rome

This hotel experience was one of the best we've had in this first trip to Italy. We were talking among ourselves and we won't hesitate to come back here the next time we return to Rome. The moment we entered the hotel, it felt like we were transported to a villa resort, surrounded by trees, flowers, and statues. The room was comfortable and thoughtful'y equipped. The staffs were all so amazing, friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel as we checkout early for a morning visit. When we come back, we were welcome to sit in their lounging/ dining area while waiting to the time of our departure. The location is unbeatable. Less than 5 minutes away from the metro, surrounded by multiple bus lines that take you anywhere around the city of eternity. And if you're in a mood for a scenic walk, the hotel is located less than 15 minutes away from Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. We especially adore the view of Circo Massimo and Terme di Massenio (on Palatine Hill) from the street of the hotel. Overall, highly recommend this hotel to all. It feels very nice to come back to this serene hotel after a long day in a city as busy as Rome.

Perfetto per me! I will see you again!

I had the absolute BEST stay at Fauno Urbano. As a solo female traveler coming to Rome in the max heat of summer and tourist season I felt I needed an oasis with a pool! Not so easy to find, but this gem of a property gave me everything I needed for the perfect vacation and was at a totally reasonable price point for me. The room was spacious and well appointed. The property was so lush and quiet, with only lovely mellow cafe jazz playing by the pool. And trust me, after a morning of heat and throngs of tourists, it is like coming home to heaven. Beyond the property itself, I was treated like a real friend by Rafael, the lovely man running things on the days I stayed. It’s because of people like him that I love traveling solo. He was open and helpful, curious and personable. He needs a raise! He anticipated when I would like cocktails by the pool and anyone who has ever employed people knows how difficult a good employee is to come by. Also, every day when I returned from my sightseeing days my room was made up so thoughtfully. I’m not sure the lovely lady’s name, but grazie mille for making me feel cared for. If you read other reviews of this beautiful, unique spot and they offer complaints, you can disregard those and just use mine as the correct assessment. The other amazing thing was there were no children, whether by design or just luck. It made for a tranquil, perfect oasis in a chaotic city. GRAZIE PER TUTTO, FAUNO URBANO!

Perfect place for a couple get away

Brand new hotel with very convenient location next to Circo Massimo metro station and walking distance to Trastevere as well as to some of the most famous parts of Rome. We spent three nights in the hotel enjoying every moment: rooms, staff, breakfast, garden and pool... everything was great and all of our asks were taken care of. The place is ideal for a couple to get away from everyday life and spend time together either in hotel facilities or discovering Rome and its cuisine as well as attractions! Special thanks to our waiter and all around handyman who served us drinks to the pool and who we saw mowing amongst his other tasks. It was a pleasure!

Peccato perchè la struttura ha un alto potenziale se non fosse che è abbandonata a se stessa. La manutenzione non è contemplata. L'unica nota positiva è il parcheggio all'interno della struttura e la posizione davvero ben collegata. Letto e cuscini scomodi. Bagno senza finestre e non funziona l'estrattore d'aria, il lavandino si allaga se provi a lavarti i denti e c'è calcare in ogni angolo.

Hotel con buen diseño, pero se siente algo viejo, aunque bien mantenido. Con áreas verdes, es muy tranquilo y el desayuno es bueno y variado: cappuccino, yoghurt, fruta, pan, quesos, embutidos, etc. El personal es amable.

We had a lovely stay at Fauno Urban. It was quiet, green garden with pool and lovely staff. Valentina and her team were so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We loved having a spritz in the garden and breakfast on the terrace. It was a convenient 10 minute walk to the colosseum and we appreciated being in a less touristy location. Would definitely recommend!
