Not the hotel that was advertised

Placed in rooms sublet from local Hotel Giorgi. No AC in the room and no fridge. Had to ask three times before decent table fans provided. Should we get a refund? One saving grace is that the location was good.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever

WORST HOTEL IN ROME!!! None of the facilities work!!!!! The faucet is clogged, the tub is clogged, the bed frame is broken, and it is so hot inside!!!! The wifi did not work. They charged us five euros for the air conditioner that doesn't even work!!!! Who does that? Each hotel should have a working air conditioner included with what you paid for. It was like 95 degrees outside. And they said "If the AC doesn't work open the window?" There wasn't even a fan. The front desk is at a totally different building and our room was so far away from the front desk. Please save your money and go somewhere else!! Don't get fooled by the name!

Location, location, location!

Don't let the pics or reviews scare you. The hotel is 'simple' but very clean and safe. I cannot even think of one bad thing to say! And you WILL NOT find a better location to stay in Rome. You are a 3 minute (2 blocks) walk from the main train/bus station in Rome. (The Grand Central Station of Rome more/less) Also lots of places to eat nearby!!

Worst hotel ever!

This was without doubt the worst hotel we have ever seen. To name it Wonderful in Rome is a joke. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the whole experience was ghastly. We booked one room for our adult children and their room was so awful they bunked down with us in our room. It was so hot since the so called air conditioning wasn't working that none of us slept that night. We refused to stay the second night as the bathroom emitted a disgusting odour and the shower overflowed onto the floor. The toilet, the wallpaper, the entire room was filthy! We found another hotel, at the same price, which was as different as day and night.

Exceptional deal

you simply can't find a better hotel location in Rome. It is one block from the main train and subway station for room which takes approximately three minutes to walk. There are two grocery stores and multiple places to eat and shop within a two minute walk. The hotel was extremely clean and safe.

The good, the bad & the ugly.

Okay, if you're on a budget, don't let the reviews scare you away. You CANNOT beat this hotel for location. You're one block from the main Train/Subway station in all of Rome - Termini. 3-4 minute walk at most! There are 2 grocery stores 1 block away, 1 convenience store, tons of shops and eateries 2 minutes walking. The location is as good as you'll get. The ISSUE with location is this: the actual building at 13 magenta is where you'll be sleeping, but you have to walk around the block to "Best of Rome" to check in. Little confusing. Now...let me give you the ONLY bad I can say: the hotel service. The hotel workers were all fantastic until the morning we were checking out. We awoke to find out our WIFI was cut off! When I called the office, he said (only in Italian) that we were checking out at 11 and then hung up on me! I am not exaggerating when I say, the man working the front counter hung up the telephone on me 11 straight times when I asked for the WIFI password as I was not checking out for 5 more hours and NEEDED to check into my flights! He NEVER gave it to me & hung up on me repeatedly! UNBELIEVABLE!! As for the cleanliness, size of room, etc, it's fine. Clean & comfortable, although, not large. But if you're like any tourist in Rome, you're certainly not spending time in your room. The ONLY negative about the room is, it's their policy to only exchange your towels every 2 days, so DON'T get them dirty or you'll be using a dirty towel for another day!

Jeg er ikke begejstret - tværtimod.

Værelset var rigtig beskidt og lugtede rigtig meget af kloak og urin. Vi måtte på vores 4. værelses værelse tage en madres ud fra køjesengen, og ligge på gulvet, da den ikke var stabil. Morgenmaden bestod af en vand og croissant.

Hotel sans pretention mais bien place

Batiment dans lequel se situent plusieurs hotels (cas apparemment frequent a rome) mais heureusement que nous avions l'adresse car le nom de l'hotel n'est pas indique La reception se situe dans un autre batiment ce qui rend l'arrivee accrobatique Chambre pour 4 personnes qui ne semble pas avoir ete renovee depuis 15 ou 20 ans Petit dejeuner dans un restaurant Indien/pakistanais a 200 m (1 cafe ou 1 jus concentre et une viennoiserie) et pas a volonte comme indique sur le site de l'hotel Personnel agreable quand on a eu besoin de lui (code wifi...)

El hotel tiene su recepción en otro hotel. El frigobar no funciona. La iluminación del espejo del toilete no funciona.

Buena atención, mal desayuno

La cama era cómoda. Las almohadas muy blandas, resultaban incómodas. Respecto al desayuno, bastante malo, ya que solo se podía escoger un croissant y para beber café o zumo. El personal de recepción era amable y la limpieza bastante bien. El wifi iba bien en la habitación. El hotel está cerca de un supermercado y del transporte público.

Not a great deal

Check in in next street, under a different name. Linen clean, blankets had unidentified marks. The buffet breakfast was in fact a voucher for a croissant and drink at a cafe in the next street. Room was nothing like the one on the website photo. The only real good point was the location, glad we only stayed one night

Very close to train station

5 minutes walk from Roma Termini station. For registration, you have to walk to a close by locatoin. At the hotel, there is no sign that says "wonderful in Rome". Actual name is Hotel Giorgi. Manager let us keep our luggage past the check out time. Bathroom and shower could use some bleach spray to be cleaned.

HORRÍVEL / TRAUMATIZANTE

ao chegar ao local do endereço citado na reserva, não havia recepção, e descobrimos que o prédio possui vários hotéis em um só. Depois de conseguir comunicar com alguém por interfone, quase 20 minutos depois chegou o responsável dizendo que aquele não era o local e que ele nos levaria até o destino certo. tivemos que dar uma volta no quarteirão com as malas sem ajuda para poder chegar ao pardeeiro que tinha um elevador que só cabia uma pessoa e uma mala por vez, tivemos que subir de escada, pois foi mais prático. O responsável fez o check in e falou que o café da manhã é servido em outro local, numa quadra de onde estavamos. Sem contar que o nome que é vendido no site é totalmente diferente do que está exposto em Roma - ao invés de ser wonderful in Rome (que na realidade é uma tragédia) a placa do hotel num endereço diferente do vendido é - Beautiful in Rome - que traduzindo pelo que podemos dizer é Horror em Roma.

駅が近いだけ

次の日の移動に備えて寝るだけだったので、このホテルを選びましたがひどかったです。まずホテルの場所に行ったら看板がない。 その後、入り口横にある名前のリストで見つけることができたので、書いてあった階に行ったら受付がない。 違う階のホテルのオーナーらしき人に聞いたら、受付は別のゲストハウスでやっているとのこと。 そこまで歩いて行くと門が閉まっていてビルには入れない。たまたま門の内側にいた別の客が開けてくれた。 部屋は汚い、布団は薄い、暖房は途中で切れる、シャワーのでは悪い、隣の声がうるさいと良いとこ全くなし。 ただWifiは普通に使えました。 駅から近いだけです。それにしてもひどく、次は駅近でも別のホテルを選びたいです。

Great position & wifi

The location is very convenient, being just around the corner from the train station, underground and bus station. If you're looking for a very basic bed for a couple of nights like we were and won't be spending much time in the room anyway it's a good, cheap & beautiful option.
