"The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay close to Edinburgh airport. One travels 4 stops on the tram from the airport and the hotel is right opposite the Gyle tram stop - very easy and way cheaper than hotels right at the airport. The hotel seems new and everything was fresh and clean. The air conditioning worked well in my room and the room was thoughtfully laid out. "We spent one night on our way to the airport. Two things to note: the hotel is right beside a very busy train track. If you are a light sleeper, then you should absolutely bring earplugs. Secondly, it costs 15 pounds to park overnight as the car park is privately operated. It's the first time I experience that, and given the price we paid for the hotel for one night I found it usurious. It is also not disclosed until after you book."

"The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. If it were not for them my score would have been lower. The hotel itself was fine, but I would not say soundproof. Each night I stayed there were ambulance/police sirens that could easily be heard. Also loud music and loud vehicles could be heard from my room. You can’t hear regular street noise, but I was woken up more than a few times."
