"The hotel is conveniently located about a 10 minute shuttle ride away from Edinburgh Airport. It was clean and quiet. Staff were very accommodating. While my flight was too early to take advantage of the complete breakfast bar, the selections available were good. Food in the restaurant was also good. "

"I recently stayed at Edinburgh Marriott Hotel West, and unfortunately, my experience was not as comfortable as I had expected. The main issue was with the bathroom design. The toilet door had roughly a 1-inch gap, which meant there was a clear line of sight both from inside and outside. If someone was using the toilet, the other person in the room could easily see them. This was extremely uncomfortable, especially since I was sharing the room with a friend. We both found ourselves feeling...

"We enjoyed our stay at The Resident as it was well located to what we had planned and the staff was quite pleasant. However, as far as value - we felt the room to be small for the price paid. We also felt the bathroom tub was quite dangerous to get in and out of — as one had to step very far up and INTO it without a bar to hold or a proper door. "Very happy with my stay. The location was brilliant for where I need to be during my business stay. Room was spacious and clean and dinner/breakfast was a very good quality and provided in a timely fashion. Views from the hotel definitely added to the stay and who doesn't want a welcome cookie! IF I had to be critical of anything, I didn't get on with the pillows provided but I appreciate we are all different!"
