"Ok let’s start by stating the location is beautiful, the golf courses are superb, and the hotel grounds are lovely. The hotel seems very tired. Now this is my fault for kit checking but I guess when I’m paying £240 a night I didn’t really consider a hotel If this supposed stature did not have air con in the rooms, we’ll talk about uncomfortable, lack of sleep and irritated with my silly decision to stay there, I was amazed when I asked at reception to the response. "Restaurant was over expensive. Room was not ready when we arrived at 6pm. We were told there was a shuttle but it never came."

"Nice hotel. We loved the spa but it could use some updating. We lost power and water one one of our days here, which we had to get ready for a wedding that day, so that was a bit stressful, but the spa was open and had power and water so that was good. The rooms could use updating, but overall, weren’t bad. The restaurant was incredible, the food was truly the best we had on our entire trip in the UK. The hotel staff said that they reached out through Expedia to send us at least two separate messages talking about the soccer game and that we would not have parking.
